"Always ... Patsy Cline" will be staged at STAAR Theatre this weekend. The show is based on a true story about country music great Patsy Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger. The two became friends after meeting in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961 and continued a correspondence until Cline's death in a 1963 plane crash.

Patsy Cline is played by Sandy Slayton-Mavrotheris, and Louise Seger is portrayed by Tammy Pierchoski.

Performances are set for Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and again on Aug. 25th and 26th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to reserved seating.

Tickets are available at the box office located at Pierchoski Estate Law, next door to STAAR Theatre, by calling 363-7222 or for online purchase at antoinettehall.com. There may be tickets available at the door if the play is not sold out beforehand.

MaryAnn Trimble, director of the upcoming production said it is truly an inspiring experience that we have two talented women who are so valuable and rooted in the community to share the stage with such a connection.
