The 2017 Row Crop Field Day is set to begin at 9 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, at the Middle Tennessee Research and Education Center in Spring Hill.

 A private applicator re-certification training will begin at 7:30 a.m. for those needing the re-certification.

Topics covered include: the farm gauge management program, weed control with X-tend soybeans, insect issues, crop establishment issues, late season corn; and nitrogen deficiencies in corn.

Lunch will be provided.

To register, call the Extension Office at 363-3523 by tomorrow (Thursday).
