The McBurg Community Center Board members are pre-selling Boston butts for $40 until Aug. 26, which will be available at the annual barbecue day Sept. 2 being held at the community center.

The annual barbecue day begins at 10 a.m. with a custom car and bike show. Register by noon, and entry fee is $20.

The day includes a baking contest, a cornhole tournament, vendors, children's activities, a pageant, antique tractor parade and live music by the Highway 64 Band.
