2020 4th ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION AT THE LIBRARY

The Giles County Library 2020 Arts and Crafts Exhibition is currently in progress through Monday, February 3rd. Come by the library to see all the beautiful works created by our own Giles County Citizens!

 

HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING PRESENTATION

The Giles County Historical Society will be presenting Tony L. Turnbow’s book "Hardened to Hickory: The Missing Chapter of Andrew Jackson’s Life”. It will be hosted at the Giles County Public Library Sunday, January 26th at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to come listen and learn.

 

CHILDREN’S STORY TIME

Join us on Friday, January 24th, at the Giles County Public Library for “Walk Like a Penguin” Story-Time. Story Times are held on Fridays at 10:15 AM in the Barbara Pankey Reading Corner of The Children’s Room at the Giles County Public Library.

 

MOVIE SCREENING

The Giles County Public Library will be hosting a Movie Screening on Monday, January 27th, at 2PM in the Hutton Brown Room. January’s movie will be Fritz Lang’s 1931 film, “M.”  Light refreshments will be served.

 

BEGINNER’S COMPUTER COURSES

The Giles County Public Library hosts Beginner’s Computer Courses every other Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. The next class will be Tuesday, January 28th. The library opens at 9:00 AM. Please knock on the front door to be admitted.
