Out 10/31 - Giles County Student Resource Officers are hosting a Trunk or Treat Halloween night at Giles County High School Track. Everyone is welcome, please dress up! The trunk or Treat will be held Monday, October 31st from 6:00 until 8:00pm. We’re accepting donations of candy if anyone would like to donate. Please send donated candy with your child to school in care of their SRO.
Out 11/3 – A Benefit Swamp Johns will be held for Wanda Owens Thursday, 11/3/22 @ The Well Church. 4pm until 7pm $15 per plate, Fish, Shrimp, or Chicken.
Out 11/3 - Mark your calendars for Thursday evening, November 5th from 5 until 7pm on the Historic Lynnville Square. The Community is coming together to put-on a big Pep Rally for the Richland Raiders on the eve of the First Round Play-off game against Adamsville. Music will be provided by Idol 7, Your Emcee will be Ed Carter of WKSR, and the events will focus around the players, cheerleaders, coaches, & staff. Parking will be available at Robert Dunnavant Park Memorial Park, and you’re encouraged to bring your lawn chair.
Out 11/4 & 11/5 - The Giles County Fire and Rescue Squad invites you to their Demolition Derby and Junk Car Jump & Run at The Giles County Agri-park, Friday, November 4th, and Saturday, November 5th both nights at 6pm. Friday will be the Junk Car Jump & Run, and Saturday will be the Demolition Derby. Admission is $10 for 13 Year Old and Up, $5 for 6 to 12 Year Olds, 5 and under are free. Out 11/15 - Giles County Archives is hosting an Open House, Tuesday, November 15th from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM at our new facility located at 211 South Cedar Lane, Pulaski. The public is invited to enjoy some refreshments, coffee and tour the building. There will be a dedication and ribbon cutting at 11:00 AM of the Parker White Reading and Research Library.
