Library Gets Performance Touring Grant Posted on November 17, 2011
The Tennessee Arts Commission has awarded a Performance Touring Grant to the Giles County Public Library to bring two Nashville Ballet touring ballets to Giles County.
“Anne Frank” an original ballet based on “Anne Frank, The Dairy of a Young Girl will come to Pulaski for an evening performance at 7pm February 2nd of next year and a children’s interactive ballet “Jump Frog Jump” will be performed at 10:30am on April 20th of next year.
Both performances will be held in the Martin Theater on Martin Methodist College Campus. This is a joint project between the Giles County Public Library and Martin Methodist College with the students and faculty of Martin Methodist College matching the grant dollar for dollar.
All performances are free and open to the public. Due to limited seating capacity in the theatre, please call Kim Harrison in the President’s Office at Martin Methodist College to reserve seats at 363-9802.
