Richland Raiders Open Basketball Season

Richland and Moore County split a pair of basketball games last night in Moore County as Richland opened their 2009 season.
The Richland girls found themselves on the losing end of an 81-42 contest. Moore County held Richland to single digit scoring in the first and third period.
Kim Lovell led the Lady Raiders with 14 points. Ashley Lovell dropped in ten. Jordan McNeese and Crystal Radford combined for 14 points.

The Richland boys team won over Moore County, 43-28.
Tanner Newton led Richland with 17 points. Trent Coble and Kevin Coggins combined for 14 points.

The two teams will take the rest of the week off and make a road trip next Tuesday to visit Eagleville. The first home stand of the season will be Friday, November 27th when Summertown pays a visit to the Dwight Clark Memorial Gym.
