WKSR Moving to 106.7
Tuesday, January 28th, 2014

WKSR is moving.

Beginning in March, WKSR will be moving from 98.3 to 106.7 on the FM dial. This is the first in a series of steps WKSR is taking to improve its coverage in Giles County and southern Middle Tennessee.

WKSR General Manager Scott Stewart said the decision to move from 98.3 to 106.7 comes after months of exploring the options available to improve WKSR’s FM signal in Giles County.

The move  to 106.7 is just the first step in a process that will likely take more than one year to complete.

To celebrate this first step in returning WKSR’s signal to full strength in Giles County, the station is partnering with a select group of sponsors to reward listeners for their loyalty to WKSR over the years.

WKSR will give away $106.70 every weekday beginning tomorrow through the end of February.

To win all you have to do is listen for the Secret Sponsor of the Day Giveaway contest throughout the day on WKSR, be the fifth caller and guess the Secret Sponsor of the Day. There will be a winner every day.

The Secret Sponsors to remember are Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home, Boys and Girls Club of Pulaski, Chiles Propane, First National Bank, Hillside Hospital, Holley’s Printing, Pulaski Jewelry, Sharp Motor Company, Sleep Zone and the Thrifty Lizard. There will be a different Secret Sponsor every day and new winner of $106.70 each weekday.

Listen to Scott and Friends on WKSR tomorrow morning and every morning through the end of February for a chance to guess the Secret Sponsor of the Day and win $106.70.

that’s a bad idea, there is already a strong radio station at 106.7 and you can listen to it all over giles county

As part of a larger article I had to edit a bit to fit the radio format, it’s mentioned the two will be switching frequencies. You can read more about the switch in this week’s edition of the PULASKI CITIZEN.
