Coleman Siniard of UT Southern was named SSAC Baseball Player of the Week, the awards are based on performance for the week of April 8th through 14th.
Siniard, a Junior from Pulaski hit .625, with three homers and 11 RBIs.
The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team, and one UT Southern athlete was honored.
Tad Sivley of UT Southern was named to the team. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions.
