The city of Pulaski’s semi annual Amnesty Week will be held next week, September 30 through October 4.
During Amnesty Week, the Street and Sanitation Department allows city residents to place large household junk items on the curb next to their carts for pick-up. Among the items to be accepted by the city will be old furniture and appliances. Items left at vacant lots will not be picked up, however.
Hazardous waste items, such as paint containing oil, car batteries, or anything containing refrigerants like old refrigerators and air conditioners, will not be picked up by the city.
After October 4, anything put out by the curb other than regular garbage will not be picked up by the city.
