Candidate Drops Out of City Race (8/29/2014) - Thursday was the deadline was withdraw from the November 4 Ardmore and Pulaski city elections and one candidate did just that.   Dennis E. PFD Responds to TVA Fire (8/29/2014) - Pulaski Fire Department members and PSOs responded to Tennessee Valley Recycling just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday to find flames and heavy smoke coming from the company’s shredder. PFD Chief Don Collins said the exact cause of the fire is unknown and a damage estimate was not available.  
Closings Announced for Monday (8/29/2014) - Several closings have been announced for Monday’s Labor Day holiday.   All Giles County schools will be closed Monday, as will all government office buildings.
